Failed every school I ever went to. Didn’t become apparent because when you move between schools on army bases, they test you, and will let you advance a grade, even if your teacher marked you all zeros out of spite.
Got my GED with honors, and was gifted a high-school diploma in the name of the school that ran the test.
Why? Socioeconomic. It’s hard to participate in school, when you’re constantly beat up at home and school. That’s right, when you get abused at home, you stop trying to defend yourself. The kids pick up on this, and they beat you up too. Then your dad assaults you because you let a kid assault you. This planet sucks. None of my siblings had proper clothes, but dad collects gold, and guns, and gambles away 1-2k a month. Stock piled food we would get beat for eating, just in case CPS came.
Hard to keep up with college when your bike breaks, and you have to draw porn to make less than minimum wage to eat rice and corn. I blew off so many classes to get work so I can eat, they only let you take them a certain number of times, even if you pay money for it. School is very expensive, even when your tuition is paid by the government.
I am glad I got to see college a little bit. A lot of the most vital stuff they teach you right at the front door. I know how to research, my English… i don’t know English for shit, but i know how to do really complicated polynomial math.
It’s a social conditioning bit, it’s all about falling in line and feeding the war machine. The economy is based on unsustainable growth, so shackling children with debt is a necessity. The success rate of local colleges is like 10-20% That’s paying a lot of money for at least an 80% chance to go nowhere.
