There comes a point when our eyes cannot process any further increase in FPS as it surpasses the uptake speed of our own optical systems.

Banning books is stupid. There has been almost no instance when I’ve heard about a banned book where it hasn’t been for stupid reasons.

To impress investors. Why else would try train their consumers to care mostly about graphics? It’s likely the only thing investors can understand.

Beats me. I only care that my games don’t run at 30 dipping into the 20s and teens. It usually tells me the developers didn’t optimize the game enough and cared more about ultra realism.

I hate how on the internet, people have become so quick to throw terms like “exploitative” and “problematic” at everything.
 
IMO, those are important terms that should hold some weight, and if you’re going to use them, you’d better have an actual solid argument for it. Otherwise, you’re better off just saying, “This isn’t really for me” and leaving it at that.
 
Like, have we forgotten about that? Have we forgotten that we can just say that we don’t like certain media without it or its creators and fans being part of some grand societal issue?

People love to exaggerate things they don’t like. I’m guessing it’s a “I’m right and you’re wrong, so I’m good and you’re bad” mentality that people refuse to grow up from, especially on the internet.
