You can blame YouTube and Twitter allowing people like Anita Sarkeesian to keep harrasing people who don’t agree with her. She and Zoe Quinn likely jumpstarted this whole “sexism in gaming” argument, while ignoring actual injustices within the industry (like greedy monitization and crunch culture).
 
You can even argue they caused the entire entertainment industry to fall into the same pitfall.

I hope they don’t raise the age of consent. Because people over 18 are legal people.

And next thing you know, because of the pedophilia concerns regarding celebrities and YouTubers and… whatever that shitty Netflix movie was, there will be more chances sex and sexuality will be abolished by the Karens of this generation who are like “think of the children”.
 
You can support save the children, but not by abolishing sexuality. Do you Karen’s want children to grow up without any knowledge of it or asexual or with an STD?

Asexuality means that you have no sexual attraction towards anyone, regardless if they are male/female or any other gender identity.
 
They can still form ROMANTIC attraction towards someone, just not a SEXUAL attraction.
 
Saying that Asexual people all hate sex and sexuality is a gross stereotype.

Lots of places. Twitter, some news sites. I’ve even seen people say that a couple having a three-year age difference is perverted, like if the guy is 21 and the woman is 18. In my opinion, that’s stupid, because my parents have a three-year age difference.

I think a “push-back” would be less of being open and more shoving porn in the faces of everyone without consent/permission, because the internet refuses to understand moderation or be polite.
