The Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread

Decided to make a copy of my Vernusylph deck in Master Duel, with a few additional tweaks.
I’ve been testing it for an hour or-so, and it’s proven to be a lot better than I originally thought it would be, everything considered.

I was going to say Fur Hire deck, but I mixed that up with Hitch (could also be fluttershy deck)….Yona woud be an Amazon user

I don’t think I mentioned this before, but I have an old DvD of volume 11 of DM. You are likely thinking Battle City or some arc like that. Nope, Duelist Kingdom. Why? Because the volume has only four ep on it. Yep. Joey vs Bandit Keith and Joey vs Yugi. That’s it. Why? I have no idea.

Can we all appreciate how this card game started from a series about anything but card games?

I just love how Kazuki Takahashi started everything out of a love for games of virtually any kind.

From tabletop, videogames, roleplay, I just love the idea.

I was cleaning my room, which meant relocating every deck I’ve built/collected elsewhere so I could properly clean my desk, and I took a photo to get a proper idea of most of what I’ve got so far.

I kind of ship Celestia Noodlina and Seburamen because of Duel Links.

He was inspired by his love for anime and manga too. You could definitely feel his love for Akira in 5Ds, which was one of his top three favorite anime/manga series. Another one of his top three favorites was Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, which I believe is what inspired him to do all the Egyptian mythology stuff in the original Yu-Gi-Oh!, given that the most iconic part of Jojo is about a quest to Egypt.

Just found about this, after finding a Charmer deck that has three copies of it in.

I’m still in disgust that in her duel against the penguin, Tai used Pot of Greed and Graceful Charity as discard fodder.
