I noticed that the auto-duel opponents in Master Duel (the ones who names are a mess of letters and numbers) seem to know what you have set. I had a 1800 def monster set, yet that never attacked into it. However, the first opportunity they had to go after a 0 def monster I set a few turns after, and still didn’t even look at the 1.8k def I had set.

Got a few new decks today, one of which was supposed to have Heroic Champion - Claivesolish, and instead came with an ultra rare Rhongomyniad.

First duel in the new Master Duel event and it’s against Floowandereeze. It would be nice if I could actually play the game rather than just watch my opponent play it.

I’m enjoying the Master Key beetle lockdown deck I got with the above mentioned Heroic Champion deck.
Using it with Safe Zone is pure cheese, and i fucking love it.

I decided that for the Master Duel event, I would make a Borrel deck instead of using my Red Dragon deck.

Spell Reproduction’s ‘discard 2 spell cards’ cost has me wondering if you could use it in a witchcrafter deck, given their own spells can be returned to hand at end phase, provided you didn’t use their other effect in the same turn.

I’m watching the latest episode of Go Rush, and I can comment that I wasn’t incorrect in my prior statement about the series getting more contrived as it went, regarding Sevens.

We’ve gone from polymerization being this unknown, legendary, one-of-a-kind card that only one, if not a few people can use well, if at all, to Monster Reborn, and now Equip Spells in general, of all things.

I’m wondering how they’d react to seeing a well-made Noble Knight or Vylon Deck, or anything that uses monsters that has them function like equip cards, such as Felgrand or Ignoble.

Or any monster removal for most equip cards. There’s a reason equip cards rarely see any competitive play, with some exceptions that got banned.

Meanwhile Maximums are reduced to a joke that isn’t allowed to be given to everyone(only 3 or 4 characters have them) unlike Fusions.

What’s worse is that if you negate their summon, your opponent’s hand and/or board are likely to be at or near zero, basically ending their turn as soon as they hit grave.

Foolish burial works frighteningly well with DMoC, considering he can be resurrected with Monster Reborn, and then his effect brings MR back to hand on-summon.

And if you have a way to bounce it back to your hand, it’s a better Monster Reborn.

Spell reclamation lets you bring a spell back as soon as it would hit otherwise grave, with the cost of having to discard one, which isn’t really a problem, given most decks.

Just a thought I had, but could you use Spell Reclamation to chain to a monster’s summon, to bring back super Poly when it hits grave, instead of chaining to Super Poly due to the latter’s effect prevention?

I somehow ended up making a somewhat decent OTK burn deck with Little Swordsman of Aile as the centrepiece.
Its effect gives it an extra 700 ATK if you tribute a monster, but isn’t once per-turn, and hasn’t been erratta’d or changed, as its only release was in Metal Raiders, some twenty-odd years ago.

Meaning you can use scapegoat, tribute all four tokens, use Spell reclamation to get it back by discarding any one card (Disciple of the Forbidden Spell, in this case), and then use it again before sacrificing a token for Catapult Turtle, before using Change of Heart, which is now apparently limited in the TCG, to tribute one of your opponents monsters before attacking and using Turtle’s effect for potentially game.

So according to the Paradox event, the Yugi/Yami Yugi in Duel Links is the manga version of them, but they gain the anime version’s memories when an anime event happens. Interesting.

Wonder why that’s only a thing for Dm though. Is it because of DSOD world?

DM was the only one we saw, so maybe it’s the case for other ones (though Chazz doesn’t have an animation for Light and Dark Dragon, which is a point in your favor). Maybe DM was the only one where they liked the manga more than the anime, or because of DSOD as you speculated.
