I think I’ll give Arc-V a try since the sub is on Crunchyroll. It can’t be that we-

Wait, action cards were actually a thing in the anime? I thought Rank10 was making that up! That just screams main character luck. At least speed duels is just riding around a track and gaining counters base on the number of turns.
You know, the system had to have pen-summons already in its data for Yuya to use them. How was he the first one to discover it? Did the ones who made them thought that it would be a great market ploy to hype them up this way? I have way too many questions, and the anime went “screw the rules” in the first ep.
Champ, extra-deck and special-summoned monsters exist. There are plenty of ways to summon high-level monsters without tributing.
If I was Zuzu, I’d be pissed at Yuya as well for making me “Female Strong Ishijima” as well.
I get that the Arc-V duel disks are compact, but I still prefer GX’s training ones more.
Why have action cards in a tutorial duel? Just have them focused on showing off pen-summon. The idea that Konami wanted to promote action cards in the actual card game scares me.
I’m glad that Yuya messed up. Relying on luck should be punished. That’s why Joey’s win ratio is 50%.
“Nothing came out.” Phasing.
Wait, a protagonist has more than one copy of a card? That’s illegal!
You know, you could just ask Yuya how he was able to pen-summon and not need to commit a crime. It’s not like they’re that valuable (unless the plot is that bad). It’s like if people were trying to steal Junk Warrior because it was a syncho and only Yusei had synchros.

Muhahahaha it gets worse
That kinda gets explained later. The guy that brought solid vision to the world of action duels has seen ALL kinds of summoning methods.

Regarding Arc V, I haven’t watched the dub so hearing Gong speak in 3rd person for Duel Links was weird as hell.
And I hope they don’t add that annoying fat kid that keeps saying ‘shiverooo’

My guess is that it wasn’t that noticeable in the anime. Could also be a difference between subs. I’m watching the Crunchyroll sub, if that matters.

If this was the manga, those wouldn’t have suction cups at the tip…
Why is one of the teachers a clown serial killer? I don’t trust LDS.
Pretty sure that theft is illegal. Why are there no adults to pipe in and tell that dweeb off for braking the law (and likely school rules)?
Ep 3 and the girl is already a damsel in distress.
All his cards are glossy? Talk about vanity.
Really? Trap action cards that only hurt you? Talk about gambling.
Dude, it’s a game mechanic. Why would only one person be able to do it. I hate the anime’s logic.
That’s not a noise a cat makes. I can’t stop laughing.
This middleschooler is way too good at flattering people.
Also, that kid is a boy? Fooled me.
And Yuya died after calling Zuzu “Strong ishijima.”
The charmer/stalker uses FrightFur. Can’t say I’m surprised.
Guys, fusion summoning has been around since day 1. How would the kid not know about it?
Did I just hear the kid say “ara ara?” I hate the internet at times.
OK, why does the fat kid keep shaking his ass?
Let me guess, he’s from the DM/GX universe and you are only good at the extra-deck type your universe is associated with?

“I don’t want to hurt you anymore.” Sounds like the writers not wanting to give the main girl any duels outside of one vs Yuya. And let me guess, he’s from an AU where he hurt/killed her?
Because it’s a shadow game. The guy’s duel disk is edgy enough for it.
The change in music tells me that this scene is important. Funny how that works.
Really? Summoning is restricted by ranks in the school? GX didn’t have any of that BS.
Yep, AU Yuya. Called it, the AU part at least. Let me guess, pen-summoning advanced human evolution and ended humanity Terminator style?

It gets worse in later seasons
Only specialist schools teach other summoning methods. Tribute summons are the norm in this universe.
Cos he’s annoying. That’s literally his only quirk.
You’ll see :p

I heard that in the last season, the intro lies and claims the female cast have their time to shine when they are in test tubes the entire season.
Sounds like a poor teaching system.
I already know they pick up Jack Atlas and Crow, the latter dying at some point. I’m aware of the dimension hopping, though just not how bad it get.
