Yugioh has gotten so balls deep into it’s own mechanics it is hilarious
 
You have ignition effects, trigger effects, priority chains, spell speeds 1 2 and 3, simultaneous effects

There are also condition and continuous card effects.

I’m going to take it easy with this event. The new cards don’t look that useful and they’ll appear later with as ticket rewards anyway.
 
So just daily gems for me.
 

I’m currently at the rank Elite 4 for the 5D’s event. Red Nova doing quite a bit of work.

I’ve been using Yosenju.
 
Thunderagon Levaneer is so busted. They always have enough resources for an otk.
 
Also I think Draw Sense spell/trap will get nerfed. Ran into a darklord deck that was using the skill EVERY turn.
 
Managed to draw necrovalley to shut them down but still.

I would say I’m a very good duelist, but I used Red Nova’s effect thinking it destroyed the attacking monster twice and tried making Red Nova using Infernity Doom Dragon once. Lost all those games. Still made it to Elite 1 at least.

Correction, I made it to rank Master 7. Tomorrow is when the fun begins.

I’m at Master rank 2 . Got all the Grade up gem rewards so now I can just chill and do daily rewards now.
 
Might lose a few games because I’ve been facing just thunder dragons and harpy King of Games and Legend players :x

I got mostly 4* normal beaters and Red Nova.

Red Nova is unaffected by Golden Castle. I wish I knew this days ago. Watt players are in danger.

Reach Master Rank 1 and at first I was going to give people wins if they needed to rank up .I started playing the event to hopefully get Draw sense earth for Leo so I can try out the Montage Dragon OTK
 
BUT I was losing constantly with Dark Cavalry Turbo thanks to Speed spells that let you increase attack power.
 
So I decided to torture people with Aromages.

I reached M5 today. Plan on getting to M1 before the end.

I thought the 5Ds event ended on Friday, not Monday. I’m glad to be wrong and to do a rank a day.

A thought’s just occurred to me, how Aster/Edo Pheonix accuses jaden of cheating when his Neos contact fuses with his neo spacians, without using poly, even though XYZ/VWXYZ already do the exact same thing.
 
Also, i’d like to point out how stupid it is to have the Obelisk force in Arc-V to all have basically the exact same deck, especially when said deck can easily be more-or-less shut down in three or less cards.

Because Chazz uses them, so I guess he sees Chazz as a cheater.
 
I’m guessing they are suppose to be uniformed to their decks. Don’t they use Ancient Gears? Why are they called the Obelisk Force if so?

I’m guessing they all use the same decks to make it seem like they’re fighting against a single unit/army .  
Cursed seal of the forbidden spell to prevent poly from being used, System down then removes every machine from field and grave at the cost of a thousand, and soul absorption gives you 500 for each removed.

And I made it to M2. Tomorrow, M1.

And made it to rank M1 today using Red Nova. My last opponent used an Aromage deck and didn’t even let me deal the finishing blow.

They just surrendered before I entered the battle phase.

I’d assume it’s because Aromages, by themselves, don’t have any spot/field removal, AFAIK, and the closest they have, Cananga’s effect, only returns an opponent’s spell/trap to hand.

I used Resonant Destruction to pop I think four or five of their cards, including two of their field spells.
