Glad that they aren’t afraid to include things that weren’t dubbed.

I’m sticking to Red Dragon Archfiend. Hit your head into a wall long enough…

I may have to. Only decks I’ve faced are Blue Eyes and Lightsworn.

Managed to get to Elite with just Yosenjus . Might try Fortune ladies too or Lunalights.

I’m going to see how Light imprisoning mirror does too.

In particular, I hear the “Kaiba Corporation Virtual Duel System” (had to look that up) hates the use of Synchros. One complaint I read mentions users disconnecting immediately if the opponent does a Synchro.

Speaking of Duel Links, really hating about the stupid “lets ruin every single new burn card hurr durr” they did.
I get SOME might need to be weakened due to 4000 LP but there’s so many new burn cards that don’t need the damn nerf.
Its messing up the fun and experience when they kept nerfing those burn cards that don’t need to be weakened.
By that logic, they should be weakening every single new card in general to make them less likely to hit with the banlist.

@Meanlucario
Most likely they didn’t have much footing to begin with.
They are annoying but not exactly “terrorizing the meta to make the banlist hit them” bad.
Only card they got that might be hit(pre-burn nerf) is Lava Golem if it didn’t get hit with the burn nerf.

KCVDS is an online Duel Sim where you can play the game with people over the internet.

Funny thing is, it doesn’t stop you from getting cards you don’t have, which I felt was a bit too meta.

@Meanlucario
Lava Golem did cause trouble but not meta-breaking bad.
In fact it was a fighting chance against some annoying stuff like Shinrai’s boss monster or the Water Invoked monster.
That’s probably why those burn/stall decks are even bothered to be played.

@Meanlucario
… I am talking about its burn effect, not the spot removal.
I am not freaking underestimating it, hell my point that they shouldn’t have nerfted the burn damage refers to how its monster removal was what allowed it to be used so much, not the burn damage.
They should have hit it with the list instead of ruining the burn damage, all that did is ruin the fun in using the card.

@Meanlucario
I just said the monster removal was why Lava Golem was used so much though.
Hence why I am saying the burn nerf was unneeded, all they need to do is hit the card with the banlist and that’s it.
All the burn nerf did is just mess up the experience in using the card. I rather had it be allowed to 1 or so than it being literally changed like that.

So no, I am not missing the point of what made Lava Golem useful(monster removal) that warranted it to get hit in some way.

Something tells me you are unaware how annoying it is to play against burn decks. And if the Lava Golem was the important thing, than how is the burn nerf that impactful? It sounds like you are a burn player.

@Meanlucario
I am not a main burn player, it just irks me that every single new burn card gets ruined(despite not all of them need the nerf). The only burn I play is a in-theme Yami-Marik deck I play whenever I am leveling up his character against souless mindless ai(I am really not into PvP crap).

Burn decks are annoying but they aren’t exactly meta.
Lava Golem had those burn decks be more apparent due to its monster removal, the burn damage is good but the nerf really isn’t need. That’s what the freaking banlist is for, to keep cards in check.
Nerfing its burn apparently just makes it enough so its not touched by the banlist but I rather its hit to 1 than the card literally being changed. Especially since it punished players who want to play IN-THEME and against just Ai duelists. It just messes up the actual fun of playing the card in general due to the burn nerf, not because of any meta or PvP crap the card is no longer able to be used in much.

The only other burn decks I know out there is Tea Burn and Weevil Burn but those got gutted due to their Skills getting nerfted, which was allowing them to cause trouble in the first place(as in meta).

I haven’t really played against any burn decks at all(then again I don’t like doing PvP crap in general) but only saw them in Replays.

@Meanlucario
I forgot about those, I also played them when leveling-up Axel(since it was his deck).

Any deck can be really annoying or not depending on how you play and such.
Though it does become problematic if said deck is becoming too strong in the meta.
