In John Smith’s story that Disney’s Pocahontas was loosely inspired by,he barely knew Pocahontas. She just shows up to stop her father from killing him,if I remember correctly.  
I have read that years later she had an affair with the real life John Smith, though.

Caucasian culture (as in, russia) regularly would marry off 16 to 18 yo (adult) to girls as young as 12 (this was still happening as late as 19th century I think)
 
Asian culture also did the same. In fact, wasnt too long ago.
 
My great grandma passed away at 78yo. Her oldest child (my grandma’s eldest sibling) I think was 62 when she passed. Imma check with me mum.

She was 16yo when she had her first child. That’d make her marry kinda young, 16 at most.
 
I mean, think about it. In a society where the daily loop consist of housework, and not everybody can afford to go off on an adventure or get a degree…
 
By 10 to 12yo you’ve already mastered everything there is to know about your daily grind. Yer ma woulda taught you most of the stuff you’d be doing pretty much yer entire life. Yer practically adult.
 
Marrying off is a way to level up, get her do new stuff, experience new things. The family would also feed one less or at least share the burden of upkeep with another family.
 
So why wouldn’t you get yer kid to marry asap? Just IMO.

Anyway live action blu cat ppl pocahontas in space was already a thing and I hope they make a sequel.

But this in the relatively mundane setting Yakuza tends to be in, they won’t have cgi characters with big personalities to lean on if their other characters turn out dull.

I imagine “Yakuza” with Sega working closely with it, and the fact it’s more realistic then other games, means they can take more liberties with it, and stay true to the game’s tone, and make a good action/crime movie that is still enjoyable on it’s own.
