According to those 2 Cracked articles (linked above) even Dr. Suess, and Cark Barks (creator of Scrooge McDuck) drew lewdish things too. So it’s pretty common, and frankly sex-sells.

This comedian was talking about superheroes and made the observation that a common power given to black heroes is electricity(Storm, Static Shock, Black Lightning).
