the animation maybe little unexpressive but watching the dub never felt it. legosi and haru’s VAs are so good, lego is so awkward af and nice but angry when he needs to, haru can be a bad bitch but her voice also fits the other lonely side of her.

Incidentally, a buddy just told me that apparently when Ben 10 was being made, the original idea was for Ben and Gwen to be friends, but someone went, “DURR MAKE THEM COUSINS.” But in doing so, they left all the super flirty moments between them.

Reminder: Gwen is 10 yo in the original series. Misty was 12 in the original Pokémon, and so was Sakura from Naruto.

idk. Ben 10 was pretty rad and Ben’s whole journey from a goddamn brat to a proper lad was kinda hitting the right demographics so, I don’t think Gwen10 it woulda been more successful imo. But maybe you’re right. AU Gwen 10 was kinda cool.
