I’m no star wars expert, so your question actually brings up a follow-up question from me.
Can Force-Users heal ? I think it’s an important question that is actually key to your question of aging.
Assuming that aging in Star Wars works similarly to ours (assuming their universe is literally OUR universe, but taking place a long time ago in a place far away) then for humans, aging would normally be associated with cellular damage or irreversible changes over time.
For example, telomere shortening. Long story short: telomere, a layer of protein and dna at the ends of a chromosome, is shorter in adults than in children.
So if Force Users DOES age much slower than non-users, is it because they can heal or manipulate their body at a cellular level, or do they age much slowly due to better diet, regular exercise, good managing stress level etc?
…Stress-related aging kinda explains why DarkSide users seem to age forty years, tbh. I mean, Palp and Vader got old real quick–and we KNOW they’re always stressed out.
