So apparently Ash/Satoshi is finally gonna retire after a special that will come in January 13 next year. There will be two new characters replacing him. As a person who watches the Pokemon anime from the beginning, this actually makes me almost tear up, and now I want to finish up all the rest of the episodes of Pokemon Journeys. I can’t believe I can live to see Ash’s journey end. I’m gonna miss that Pikachu too.

As someone who left the show for dead about, oh, 20 years ago, I’m surprised they didn’t retire Ash and Pikachu much earlier. Don’t most anime series usually end and switch over to a sequel series with different characters after just a few years, 10 years at the longest?

Well memory loss was a the big thing at the end No Way Home.

Otherwise unless it turns out that Tony did something to piss Scorpion off then no because that’s the only way the MCU Spider-Man can have an enemy.

Gargan still hates Spiderman. Just nobody remembers Spiderman is Peter.

With that Venom tease at the end of No Way Home it’d be the perfect time to bring back Gargan. It’s unlikely the MCU has the rights to Brock or Harry Osborn so jumping straight to Venorpion makes sense.

Not really considering outside of comic nerds, most people know Gargan as Scorpion, and even then the casual audiences probably have no idea who the hell Gargan/Scorpion is anyway (compared to the lies of Doc Ock/Goblin/Venom ect, he doesn’t seem to be as big as the others in popularity/familiarity)

Also considering people still know that Eddie is Venom thanks to the Venom movies, you’d just have a lot of confused people wondering why isn’t Eddie Venom f this version of Venom was to appear.

It wouldn’t be the first time the MCU has composited characters. And even as far as MCU only fans know, the NWH stinger does adequately explain how there’s a Venom without Eddie by literally showing us a (piece of) Venom without Eddie. Which itself was the origin story of Carnage in his movie.

Yes but he doesn’t hate Tony and MCU Spidy villains have to be people Tony made mad.
Is the MCU really bold enough to have a Spider-Man bad guy that hates Spider-Man specifically that aren’t from a different universe cause that a pretty significant departure from the norm.
I just know if audience would except such a shake up.
