I totally agree with you. In a cyberpunk-lesque world there should or even must be room for individual expression. Personally, I have never understood why so few authors or games have succeeded in generating a halfway credible cyberpunk world in which there are also hijabi women.
In general the Islamic culture is at best clichéd in the majority of the Sci-Fi genre. Frank Herbert was one of the few creators who obviously had a halfway reasonable understanding of this. Sometimes I think that the centuries-old fear of the Western world towards Muslim culture in creative art would have been different if the ideology of an Emperor Frederick II (HRR) had prevailed.
But even today Muslims are still either bazaar salesmen or Islamist fundamentalists. The cyperpunk world definitely needs more hijab. ;-)
This also applies to other cultures, by the way. Whitewashing is stupid. That’s why Ghost in the Shell (2017) was a slap in the face in my opinion. But that is the problem with today’s media. In their thinking one should create something that makes money. And not something that represents the world as such in a concrete and enigmatic way. The US-dominated media landscape and publishing houses are in dire need of a new Bertolt Brecht.

I thought the “Creepy Clown Epidemic” was long dead?
Lead to some crazy (real or faked) videos online though.

You are already booped.
Why are they bringing back Jamie Foxx’s Electro? I know it’s not unprecedented, but the major difference is: people actually LIKE the JK Simmons version of Jameson.

Well he is a good actor. And he did play a good Electro. It’s just that Amazing Spiderman’s Electro was a meh character.
So the talent is there, they just need the MCU depiction of Electro to not suck.

You know, I actually liked the ASM2 Electro. The original comics character is a B-list nuisance, so from the start I expected him to be less Darth Vader and more, well, this. But apparently he’s hated on a Jar Jar Binks level by pretty much everyone else.

So the other purpose of the returning Doctor Strange in Spiderman 3 is that of possibly bringing in the previous actors of Spider-Man. (Tobey and Garfield)

Red dwarf had an episode where they go to universe that is going backwards and One of the backwards messages is actually making fun of the people who were editing it to find out what they were actually saying

Hot damn the latest Hulk issue was incredible. I haven’t been so hyped by a cliffhanger since Joe Fixit’s return from the same series or when Venom bonded with Hulk to throw down with Dark Carnage.
Hopefully the followup issue will be more like the former instead of the turd the latter ended up as.

As someone who has not played the games I guess it looks ok (I will watch when it goes on Netflix or something)
But I can already tell it’s not faithful and something about it looks cheap and not the CGI

Dark Carnage? How do you get much darker than normal Carnage?

Take a dead Cletus Cassady. Bond him to a primordial dragon symbiote. Have the remnants of his Carnage symbiote may or may not eat said primordial symbiote from the inside out. Boom, Dark Carnage.

scuse me?! FOR REAL?! As in the manga?! Wait I coulda sworn I thought there would be more! You mean the Melon Saga is actually the Final Arc?
I haven’t caught up with Beastars yet. Last chapter I was on, was the one where Legosi and Melon was doing a quiz with Legosi’s life on the line.

Ya main. Story ends like some 15 chapters later.
Apparently there’s going to be a prequel or something come January, but Legosi’s story is now done.

One thing that does kinda annoy me about Ghostbusters Is whenever they introduce a new team is a replacement team( Xtreme Technically 2016) Or the B squad in the 2016 game.
I know cinematic universes Our bit over done right now But I would generally love 8 Ghostbusters enomatic universe But I would generally love Ghostbusters cinematic universe. A different team in a different city

I keep hearing about a new Spider-Man movie that will have Tobey Maguire,Andrew Garfield and the current guy all together. I’m wondering if any other Spider-Mans will be there, like an Into the Spider-verse but live action.
There are some older live action Spider-Man’s out there.
The 70’s Spider-Man,played by Nicholas Hammond.
In Japan there was instead of Peter Parker,Takuya Yamashiro, played by Shinji Todo.
There’s also the Electric Company Spider-Man.
It’d be cool too if the various va’s of animated Spider-people could be involved.
