The Mistakes You Probably Made In The MLP Fandom

Let’s be honest for a moment.
 
What are some mistakes you made in the Brony Fandom?
 
I want to make a YouTube video where I discuss 10 of the most common mistakes you probably made in the fandom. We’re not here to judge anyone but I really would like to get some answers to this question. A side note; I am not a critic or someone in any part of the Analysis Community. I am just some ordinary YouTube user with goals to fulfill of my own.
 
So basically what this video is about where I discuss of these mistakes and describe how we can avoid doing it again, hopefully newcomers of the fandom don’t make the same mistake.
 
Now, if you want to, comment below at least one or more mistakes you had made while in the Brony Fandom. I will try to summarize all the pieces together to see which mistake(s) have in common from one of another and add them in one tier at a time.

Moderating a moderately popular MLP fan site. It’s a mistake I would make again, and would encourage others to do as well if they get the opportunity, but it’s definitely a mistake. It’s like volunteering to help a fan-run MLP convention. That runs for 365 days. A year. For ever. Not unlike getting married: it’s probably one of the best mistakes you’ll ever make. But if you knew what you were in for when you started, you might have thought about it awhile longer before putting the ring on.

Joining in on the jackassery known as “Derpygate”, getting perma-banned from a site due to getting drunk and being a jerk towards the author of a certain infamous fic, not going to a con at the height of the fandom, etc.

I never made a mistake related to My Little Pony, but other individuals like users who strife against me unreasonably and label me should examine what they are doing. I had enough self reflection and ignoring other’s problems is not going to change them for the better.
