This actually pissed me off. On the game where Lalamon is posed on the cover with the rest of the Savers/Data Squad gang, yet the Palmon line got Rosemon. Yoshino can never catch a break.

Saban butchered the English dubs of the first three Digimon seasons badly. Disney downright 4Kids’d the damn thing with Frontier and Data Squad.

Tamers was pretty good. There was still the occasional Saban silliness but after watching some of the Japanese version of Tamers, I actually prefer some of the Saban version over it.

Personally, my only issue with the dubs I’ve seen is the overflow of jokes and puns.

At the very least, it was cancelled so you only have 2/3rds of the show to sit through.

I was unaware they pulled a 4Kids and left out the last season. And I’m aware of the censorship since I asked about it in a Digimon server (like how Omegamon got castrated). The names are likely a dub thing that has been a thing since day one (I will die on the hill that Gallentmon is much better than Dukemon, same with Crusadermon and LordKnightmon).

The name changes are unusual for a Saban dub, usually they’d try to just shorten existing names or use a similar sounding name, with Fusion they went the 4kids route and just changed names to whatever the fufk. Only some Digimon got to keep their normal names, but only some.

Looks like the boss misspelled SlashAngemon and no one wanted to get fired correcting them. I’m still used to the DS game calling it GuardiAngemon for some weird reason.

Something neat is that I was told in a Digimon server that every game (including mobile) is giving mons a 3D model, so there is a chance the next game will have a lot more digimon than Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition.

I was not expecting the Gargoylemon to sound like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
