Have you woke up screaming
In the silence of the night
You wish you could start dreaming
In clouds of white
But everything can change tonight
When you duel with the devil living in your mind
Maybe, but that would only be half as funny. And the only true washing machine manufacturer at all is Miele. It’s German, expensive and drag something like that to the fourth floor without an elevator. I already had the pleasure and it almost broke my backbone. Seriously, these things are only available with a built-in concrete base. ;-)
Bosch is like Volkswagen is a brand in its own. Influenced from outside, but still a guarantee for German engineering. A fact of which we Germans as a collective people are still very proud, but we all know that these times will soon be over. Nevertheless, we defend ourselves against it with all means. A world without German engineering is like a world without French cuisine, Japanese anime or US weapon systems. Unthinkable. ;-)
@DarkObsidian
I don’t think my parents got it specifically for the brand name. We just needed a new washer and dryer. We also got a new dishwasher that’s also a Bosch but I don’t think my parents specifically sought out a Bosch, they just didn’t want an LG like the one we had before.
A valid point. Yet we Germans are everywhere. We’re in the sciences. We’re in engineering. We are in history. We are in the genes. We’re practically everywhere. And we are often the most popular villains in Hollywood movies. Wherever you go, Germany will accompany you for a while. ;-D
