Britain is building a competitor for F-35, it’s called “Tempest” and it’s due to enter service on 2030s as the first ever 6th gen stealth.

Technically the B-21 Raider is partially considered the first 6th generation aircraft. It’s just not a fighter. First official flight is scheduled for next year.
