What even is the top speed of a Pegasus or dracony? I’d guess on the maximum end, maybe 180 to 200mph in a nose dive.

He’s not missing, he ejected and went to a metal concert.

After some test I saw that that most Pegasus can fly up to 770 mph that’s just breaking the sound barrier and at a dive but, proficient Pegasus (like Rainbow dash) can fly up to mach 5

Seen that, mach 5 is hypersonic travel based on the “mach cone” though it’s less likely to be a mach cone and more likely a transonic vapor cone from the pressure. Similar to this.

Yes exactly like that. That’s a key detail of something traveling faster than the speed of sound.

It can be. Though, those 2 planes in the images are traveling less than 600mph. A vapor cone can form at near supersonic speeds but is not limited to speeds at or exceeding mach 1
