Ascribing to a static political ideology is foolhardy as it locks you into a narrow, often destructive, single point of view. That being said, I tend to be politically left, at least socially. I’m fiscally conservative to a degree, save for my strong stance of being pro-organized labor. I’m also very pro-military. I come from one of the largest military families in US history, and am myself going in as an officer. So needless to say, I take anything relating to the military very seriously.
Pro-Choice, Pro-gay marriage, pro-labor, pro(limited and regulated) social safety nets, pro enough taxes to make sure my water is drinkable and the bridges don’t fall down, etc.
My main peeve of both parties is when they legislate morality and utilize mass censorship. The fuckwad “moral majority” on the right, and the “1942 was a guide book” stateists on the far left. No religion, or government, should have the power to tell me what I can and can’t say, wear, believe, create, etc.
