so…I have been thinking the last days about the old and now dead PB, i realized that not matter how hard I try I can only remember the “bad” things of it.  
for that reason I ask you guys, what stories do you have of PB? good and bad, it doesn’t matter, just…

I’ll confess I started the whole stupid Patrick Von Drillman thing. It was annoying how often the site broke down and I thought it would add a little stupid humor while everyone waited. :I

what is that “Patrick Von Drillman thing”?

I searched for dumb “repairman gifs” and found one of a dude with a drill. I posted him as the “site repairman” sort of thing and it, oddly, seemed almost every time I did the site would be fixed just a few hours later.
 
So, it became a dumb thing that I’d post when the site started acting screwy.
 
However, I only did it at first. After that other people started posting it and it was out of my hands.

Uh, after the S2 final, whenever new art of Vinyl Scratch appeared with red eyes, I would anonymously comment: “Wrong eye colour”

Same here man, which is why I did it. I never really thought that red really suited her, and I’m still of that opinion.

Sincere apologies to you, good sir. I don’t do it anymore since…well, I don’t get much of a kick out of trolling; and I’m quite content with Vinyl’s fanon eye colour

holy shit, they were a super shitstorm, i don’t remember about what but i am sure it was totally unrelated to the pic.

what happened was maybe the biggest shitstorm ever in PB history, i couldn’t live knowing i was the one who posted it, so i reported it to be delete and it was one of the few times that eco responded.

I mustn’t of been there when those happened. Also, why did the bottom one cause a shitstorm? I knew Nyx and past sins was hated there, but I don’t remember it being that bad.

yes they are, i made sure of that.  
also, i remember a particular cteno pic (not made by slugbox, i actually went to that “trash can” place to look for it but no luck) that was shooped with something nasty and spammned like hell (like 50 dupes of the same pic) everytime it appeared i changed the tags to filter it (i think they where “troll,spam,explicit”), after half day of battle and troll changed of strategy (he/she noticed that people where just filtering away their pics) and started to “dupe spam” cteno pic.

I remember vehemently telling one of Cartuneslover16’s white knights on almost every one of her pictures everything wrong with her crossovers.

Nope, they’ve been a part of Ponibooru for a long time.

well, i can’t remember them and i said i can only remember negative stuff.  
i remember my single man war against fluffy abuse crap, everyday like 50 new stories posted, every day tagging “fluffy text” just to delete that crap out of my sight, i am happy that fluffy abuse died.

All I remember are the gif parties.

Besides the obvious gifs parties, adventures in the commends, drama and nonsensical shitstroms that ponibooru had (not that DB has any less of that :P ), my only personal history is the following:
 
I was once browsing ponibooru like always and I found this random post of a screencap of “may the best pet win” which had RD and FS, and there was a 40 or 50 comments long thread of various users discussing all about shippings in a very and I mean VERY serious way, which shippings they liked, which shippings they though more plausible, which shippings they though canon, oh and did I mention that most of the comments of that thread were twice as long as this post?
 
Least to say I had mixture of “WTF? man” and “lol” after looking at such thread of a picture that didn’t even contained shipping.

I did a handful of anonymous uploads, but didn’t really take part in the community…

I miss those dance party threads. Well, the 3 big ones I know of.
 
And wasn’t there a moment when Patrick Von Drillman “failed” to fix the site once, so someone just decided that he had a 90s-obsessed son/nephew who tried to fix it instead? It may have been silly, but I got a kick out of that.
