Origin of Username thread

How did you came up with your username?  
(Feel free to do some RP out of it)

Hasbro needed a silly pony who liked apples and liked bucking trees with apples. So they named me. :)

First part: my avatar should be a clue.
 
Second part: it also has to do with nintendo, but it’s a secret.

long time ago, in a place called “mangafox”, there was (and is still here) a club named “pokespec FC”, i was in this club with a username a little long composed of three words, so people made an acronym of my user named using the first letter of each word and thatis how equestria…errr….the name “RIG” came out (and i am sure this happened long before Dead Space existed).

i really dunno ._.

So I accepted the cowl and became crime’s greatest fear in the night.

Fluttershy was taken.
 
So I just took the Mistress version of it.

A bit of dyslexic wordplay.

When I first started out on Xbox live, I had a friend who’s gamertag was PrimalMittens## (numbers omitted for his privacy) and I wanted a similar name, so I came up with FeralSocks018. After a while, I tired of the numbers and it became Feral Socks. I dislike the space in place of an underscore, but XBL tags can’t have underscores, so whatever.

I came to ponibooru. Saw something that needed attention and named myself quickly.

Back when I was 12-13 years old I started getting to know that thing some people call “the internet”.
 
When I found youtube and wanted to create an account, that was the first time I had to create a username for anything, since my English skills were pretty much limited at that time (since I’m luso-venezuelan), every english word back then sounded cool so I went with “Black”. But then I thought “nah, black is too common” (teenager retardness what can I say >_> ) and changed the “B” for a “V” and switched the places of the “c” and “k”.
 
Now that I look back to it, the origin of my username is very stupid, but with the years it has grown on me and now i use it anytime I’m asked to create an account or the like.

Because other Rarity kept getting me is trouble >_<. So I changed it. I’m still a fabulous pony, just with fangs and the taste for blood ^^

Named for Sonic fan-character Sandra Nightweaver. That name alone was taken on a lot of forums, so I added “20XX” to my name to sound futuristic a-la a MegaMan game, without being too specific. Like those douchebags who add the year they graduated after their username, only better and more metal.

I needed a pen name when I started writing fanfiction. (spoilers: it never took off)  
And Advance sounded cool…ish?

Simple enough, my original screenname was Abridgedfanboy, but when I moved to deviantart I wanted to change it up a notch. One remembrance of how much James Cameron used to not suck later and BAM.

When I got my PHD in hoers I was really proud so I decided to go with this username.

Well…kinda obvious.

Mine comes from a series of really immature Donald Duck comic parodies called Paska-Ankka (Shit-Duck) which is made by idiotic 12-year old finnish kids.
 
 
I replaced the Duck with Jackdaw and here we are.

Well, as of a few years ago, I felt I needed a new web name, ….this was the best I could actually come up with, I don’t think I need to actually explain the origin of the name itself.
