It’s a banger album from top to bottom!

I do remember listening to that album a couple years before I joined this site and thought it was okay. At the time I had been trying to get into other genres of music but never really liked Rap as it’s very repetitive. Having a short rap in the middle of a song is fine, but an entire song which is nothing but that is something I’ll never get into.

To Pimp a Butterfly is currently the highest rated album on RateYourMusic. Not long ago it wasn’t even in the top five (I remember In the Court of the Crimson King was rated higher than it) but I guess that site has been overrun by rap fans.

The Grammys are a joke.

I like the titles of a particular band called PXNDX: Narcisista por excelencia, los malaventurados no lloran, no tienes oportunidad sobre mi antipática imaginación.
Maybe I could have translated the titles, but I didn’t want to risk it and lose the essence.

1990: Gangsters trying to be rappers
2020: rappers trying to be gangsters

Favorite emo/post-hardcore song titles: I’m partial to Dance Gavin Dance’s titles…like “Me And Zoloft Get Along Just Fine” or “Turn off the Lights I’m Watching Back to the Future”. The Fall of Troy and A Day to Remember have some good ones too.

They do have the same BPM and upbeat dancepop sound to it. They also have the same producers, Dr. Rapist Dr. Luke

I propose making all Jimmy Buffett music illegal to play and possess.

Who the hell would do that? Just attack and beat up a legendary rock musician, but more importantly, a man with one arm completely unprovoked? Is it because they think he won’t put up that much of a fight, or are they just naturally that much of a dick?

That said, it seems he will recover.

Yeah, that was despicable of the person…
I’d say he was just a general punk-ass who was like “I’m young and I’ll live forever! Haha! Fuck evurreewun! Oh look, a disabled person!”, and he likely had no idea who Rick Allen even was.

Glad Rick is recovering well, and I look forward to Def Leppard’s symphonic album coming out this May!
