I know I trash non-metal, non-punk and non-rock songs, but this one seems pretty bad: You Said We Were Right.

I’ve always found it fascinating to learn how something was translated.
Polish cover of Savages,from Pocahontas
There’s so many subtle alterations, but still keeps the meaning and fits the music.

Admit it… we really miss concerts so bad, you’re hallucinating things at home about it that you were used to be.

Yikes that’s very unfortunate. Just when they were settling back into a hopefully more stable lineup. Ah well… wishing the best for everyone

Heh, I love that now that the Christmas rush of music is gone, Billboard is like “Alright, we need SOMETHING to fill in the slots” and they looked over to the Christian charts and said “Yes, this will do!”

Just as I was about to complain, Todd finally publishes his best list of the year.
Only disagreement I’ve had is Supalonely, which I think the song sucks, but everything I mostly liked. His number one pick, More Than My Hometown, isn’t one of the best of the year, but I do like it and I consider it Morgan Wallen’s best song. I just wish he included Even Though I’m Leaving onto his list since that song is just so emotionally heartbreaking.

I’m kind of surprised “Blinding Lights” wasn’t on there. It was #1 for most other reviewers.
Still not as BS as when “Closer” was #1 of 2016, though. Screw that song.

I’m even more surprised Don’t Start Now didn’t make the cut, since it’s exactly the type of song he would gush over.
Closer isn’t the worst of 2016 but it didn’t deserve to get as big as it did, and there were far better songs for Todd to put for his number one song of that year.
