It’s not that I’m not a blues guy, I like the blues as much as every other genre, I just wasn’t familiar of who he was as a musician is all
@Mr.Myoozik
If you check out The Bluesbreakers’ music, then you will be. “Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton”, released in 1966, is one of the most important Blues Rock albums of all time - In fact, it was ranked 195 in Rolling Stone Magazine’s 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time

Alright, sounds interesting. I looked them up and found out they had a song crack the Hot 100, which was Don’t Waste My Time in 1969. They also had Room To Move which was a hit in Australia and The Netherlands
@Mr.Myoozik
Correct.
If the band not on Spotify or such like, I’ll be damned. Or perhaps, rather they’ll be.
Take a listen when you can. “I’m Your Witchdoctor” (Which I mentioned in the other Music-related thread) is a good song to start out with
Gojira killed the open like what Metal should be man i wish Metel was popular in the charts and mostly used for events hell have Cannibal Corpse at Children in Need
@Dashie41 YT @𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐫
It’s a huge win for metal (and a wonder) that Gojira got to perform at the Olympics in the first place!
Sure the band are French, but usually you’d expect a committee like that to wrinkle their lowest common denominator-pandering noses at metal music. Someone on the board must have been a true headbanger!
@Commune
He is a fantastic producer. His solo work, as part of The Neptunes and as part of N.E.R.D. are all spectacular and he is up there with Timbaland and Max Martin as one of the best producers of the new millennium. He makes slip ups like everyone else cause no one’s perfect, but he has more highs than lows I would argue
On this day 58 years ago, American teen magazine “Datebook” published the controversial interview of John Lennon proclaiming that “We’re more popular than Jesus” to the US. Originally stated in March of that year to a British magazine, it garnered little backlash in the UK until it reached the United States, initiating protests, riots, boycotts of The Beatles’ music and record burnings across the Bible Belt. The event would disillusion the band from touring for the rest of their time together and Lennon would apologize for the statement.
The only bad thing Eminem has done was absolutely murdering MGK’s rap game so bad, to the point he switched genre to metal and made that thing look cringe.
