Happy venting thread

I wish you all a very happy new year!

My temp jobs over and now I finally have the time to check out all the cool art I missed!

Overall, 2020 wasn’t that bad a year for me. It sucks that my cat got sick, and the vet bill prevented me from going on a ski trip. It also sucks that Covid forced me to cancel a trip to Ontario to visit my brother.
 
I spent two weeks mentally preparing myself for the layoff. However, turns out it was a great year to be a delivery driver, and I was busier than ever. My investment portfolio took a hit, but because I kept investing, I ended up ahead of where I’d be if there was no pandemic. I also bought some stock, which is doing well.
 
I reconnected with some people I knew in elementary and high school. Turns out we have loads in common.
 
Lastly, I got tons of work done on my game. Highlights include controller support, overhauling a lot of the player code, and adding the inventory.

It was a powerful year of self improvement for me.
 
Since I’m financially stable I’m going to catch up on my drawing and start treating it like an actual job.

I haven’t made as many frivolous purchases this last year as I normally do. I might actually get to pay off my car, soon.

They’re planning to rebuild the Arecibo Observatory if sufficient funds are enough! So far, $8 million will be coming from the PR government.

Why do I hear boss music?
 
Because I added a feature to my game that locks the door and starts playing boss music when you enter the boss room.

The choices of characters to add is very interesting, they even got one time characters with few lines like Vapor Trail. Excited to see where that project goes in the future.
