Happy venting thread

I made my first successful batch of mustard. It’s called Bordeaux mustard and is made with brown and yellow mustard seeds, Bordeaux wine, vinegar, and various seasonings. It’s strong and good on beef and sausages.

Oh hell yeah, living the dream. I mix sauces a lot and make my own hotsauce sometimes.

From what I’ve read, hot mustards are the easiest to make. English hot mustard is just Colman’s and water. It’s the milder mustards that require more preparation.

It’s shockingly easy. Just need hot peppers, water, vinegar, and a pot.
