Just watched Bad Boys For Life and I’m prettily shocked learning that Vanessa Hudgens (AKA the MLP G5 Main Character) was in that movie as one of Will Smith’s partner. 😬

Finished doing an annotated bibliography two weeks early which was a lot of work and research, but now I don’t have to worry about it anymore.

I finally destroyed my Facebook account, after 30 days of bravery and sworn.
Don’t judge me, that account has been useless lately, especially after graduation.

Though it’s always a little sad wrapping up the garden in fall, this year was the most productive it’s ever been. I had loads of cucumbers, tomatoes, and yellow wax beans. The Monte Gusto beans were so prolific I could pick a colander full every couple days. I learned that if you plant the base and roots of the green onions you buy in stores, they will grow up to healthy full plants. In this way, you can have green onions all season long for the cost of one bunch.

On the other hand: now that it’s fall and the temperatures are dropping, you can make the long-game investment and chunk an apple in the ground and it should germinate and start growing. Cooler weather like during the fall is the best time to start, because the seeds need cold temperatures to even start. They are after all: a central Eurasian steppe tree.
Plus, you get to play with the Kinder Surprise Egg of fruit trees because apples don’t typically pass along the genetic information of their own fruit between generations. So you could get any sort of thing. Ornamental, cider, or actually good to eat.

I wasn’t supposed to work today because of some scheduling confusion, but at least I got some extra money on my bank account

I needle felted a hedgehog.
It looks nothing like a hedgehog, but it’s cute. For someone who normally works with metal and stone, its a hard transition to work with textiles.

Thanks, buddy. I was just about to write something funny/happy. But after seeing THIS, I kind of ran out of steam. Nah, actually…. It helps me forget things. Because actually what I want to say is frustrating and happy at the same time. ;-)
Fact: I’m not doing quite well at the moment. But literally the sweetest and prettiest “girl” I’ve ever met was actually worried about me. Came over, cooked for me and was obviously worried about me. Okay, well, “girl” in the sense she’s right over 20 and I’m not exactly what young. But we’ve known each other for a while, and yes, you can make fun of it or think it’s silly….
But for a moment… For a fucking moment I felt like I was in a fucking romcom. I am sure she has no other feelings for me except pity. But guess what? It made me really happy. And it kind of does right now. Even if that’s quite irrelevant. I will surely forget it soon enough. Still…
This little bitter-sweet and absolutely remarkable moment in my life did warm my cold heart a little. And was it even just for a blink in time. I have to smile. No matter what comes. What better way than to say that you are/were happy. No matter how ridiculous that sounds right now ;-)
