I was just on the front page and I happened to see it and I initially thought “Why does this look familiar?” until I saw the description and it hit me. I’m still feeling ecstatic, the artist did a great job at it.

I’m now officially a federal employee.

It’s good to be out of contracting. The freedom was nice, making my own schedule and all that, but the pay was feast or famine.

Now, I’ve got stability and a kickass retirement plan.

I finally watched every episode of “The Simpsons” on Disney+! (at least until season 33 hits the service later this year)

Top Gun ’86 was such a phenomenal movie that critics slightly never liked it.

This one DEFINITELY lived up to it’s reputations and as advertised. No wonder Rotten Tomatoes gave this Hollywood movie a 97% rating. A goddamned Hollywood movie. I usually see these types of action genres as your average military porn movie… This one mixed that one, patriotism, and the drama prettily damn well.

The nostalgia must truly hit hard for those OG audiences who were a part of their good times with the first one. As a newbie to this lore since literally this year, I must impressed they actually outdone themselves and stayed to everybody’s hype is all about.

Got back from the beach. It was a short stay, but it was nice and relaxing. The waves were really powerful and it was kinda cloudy, but if it meant not that much heat, then I took it.

Two really cool things happened today:

I got to play Horse Tag, and when the owner of the ranch got called back to the barn for an emergency, I was put in charge of the trail ride.

LG C1 dropped to $800!

Yeah, they exist. These “stupid” Germans who constantly donate. It often seems like a meme, but in fact, we Germans often care about the well-being of others. However, each German is very specific here. I go the UN way and have “bought” a family tent. Of course, one can always be skeptical when it comes to donations, but 42 years of my life have taught me that the UN actually does a pretty good job. Most of the time. Not always, I’ll admit. But I don’t think this money has been wasted. I continue to live with the thought that at least I tried to have made someone else’s life a little better. All I can do is try. And that makes me happy. ;-)

I got some work to do~

I wish i only drank 2 beers last night instead of three (they’re big ones). I’ll probably recover later on today. I’ll have some weed and a nap before I get to work.
