Woohoo! I wish you all the best for this interview. Ich drücke dir die Daumen. Well, from personal experience I can only tell you that:
A.) a good preparation (possible questions about your own skills, your experiences, your personal attitude – And it is always important to be as optimistic as possible!)
B.) a cool poker face (never show signs of fear or insecurity – just admit if you’ve never learned or done anything – honesty is important here, even if you’re doing a job for the very first time) and
C.) a certain amount of daring is important. Never be too defensive in an interview, no matter how nervous you are. Rather a little more self-confident, even if you personally aren’t the type for it. In the end, it’s all about you.
They want you. All you have to do is convince them that you’re the best for this job. You don’t have to know and know everything right away, but self-confidence is basically the basis of any trust between employer and employee. Smile at them, tell them about yourself and what you can, never tell lies, but be sure during the whole interview, they want you. They just don’t know it yet. ;-D
But I have full confidence in you anyway, my friend. And if you’re unlucky, which I can’t believe, then the gods just had a bad day. ;-)
