General Dark Souls

If this works, fixing the snap movement controls in ds2, this could dramatically improve the game for me. When I get back to it, I’ll give this a shot.

I thought it was an interesting touch that if you bow to the firekeeper in DS3, she’ll bow in sync with you.

Fuck her. Who gives a shit about that pasty little recorded boombox? Andre is clearly the better waifu. He actually takes care of your weapons, is friendly, chatty and has some witty remarks at times.

I like how the Dragon Slayer Armor is designed similarly to Small, but is very different.

I’ve just just about enough of this motherfucking cocksucker Artorias (sorry to those who like him). I’m getting very very frustrated by him. I tried him another 12 times this morning and I just can’t do it. I can’t beat him. I don’t have the timing. I don’t have the skills. I think I’m just going to say “fuck it” to the DLC. Unless someone wants to leave their sign and help me, I’m just gonna be done.

He’s not hard, just get your weight limit down so you fast roll and if you have it use the darkwood grain ring for more i-frames.

I’m wearing the Maiden set. I have the fastest roll without using the wood ring. That’s what I’m saying, it’s just not enough. I make one mistake after he buffs and I’m one-shotted. I’m not a computer; I can’t roll perfectly every time.

First of all, that set has terrible defense, switch to the wander set if you have it.  
Secondly, his attacks aren’t hard to pin down, they have decent wind up, and you have enough time to anticipate it.  
Question, are you panicking and rolling too early?

night, did you try to outdamage his buff? if you attack him while he’s buffing, you can deny it with enough damage.

I’m wearing the lightest stuff I got because I figure defense matters fuckall in a fight where he can one-shot me anyway. I’m even two-handing my Great Scythe. The attacks that are really getting me are after a combo I go in for one hit and he does that 360 spin slash that pops me up into the air, or the other one that just cuts me down. I’ve learned that I have to roll immediately away from him after getting 1 hit in, but sometimes I don’t have the time to even do that. Once he buffs he starts mixing up his combos to the point where I don’t know what’s coming, and whether to roll to the right or back. If I guess wrong ONCE, I’m dead. And that’s what happens.

I’ve never been able to do that. I can’t swing fast enough to build up enough DPS to knock him out of it.

Try using a lighter faster weapon.

do you have Power Within? it’s a pyromancy spell.
 
also, check this part in the video. I think it was the 300 damage mark that did it, the other one dealt more damage and as my memory+wiki notes serve, only while he’s buffing he has a good deal of damage reduction from your hits. That’s the part that matters most in this fight, as if he buffs, it’s like he becomes a different boss fight I guess.  
and another thing that people said interrupts the channeling of that buff, is a headshot from a ranged weapon.
 
but if you have Power within, from what I’m hearing here that’s what you need, the slow health drain overtime is obviously bad, but the damage you deal as a result should make the difference here.
 
 
as for a summon sign, I could try, but I got O&S on NG+ and I’d need to know your level, so that I’m not too overleveled..

rush him fast when he buffs. I’m seeing if my lvl 114 isn’t too far and if I can get to the Dlc. I don’t have much trouble killing Smough, but Super Ornstein could take a while, with some luck maybe I’ll finish them this weekend.

 
finally.. I shouldn’t have died this much at them, but I kept on making some really stupid mistakes.
