So I just learnt that throwing an undead hunter charm at a mimic will essentially disable it, allowing you to pick up whatever item it's holding.

Also I managed to finally get a flamberge, and was surprised that it's a 15/14 Str/Dex requirement, which is lower than I was expecting.
