no, if you read project 2025 more carefully you will see that with “porn” they mean gay people. They focus on schools and libraries, they haven’t mentioned Pornhub at all. Porn companies are pretty powerful so they will be left alone. When they say “ban porn” what they mean is making Florida’s ‘don’t say gay’ bills the law nation wide.

Perhaps, as with Trump’s 2016 pledge, the vague proposal to ban porn may go nowhere in a second term. But the anti-LGBTQ proposals that it portends almost surely will.

I thought Derpibooru was hosted in Europe?
And even if it wasn’t, I think state laws would be more meaningful than Federal ones (based on what almost happened to e621)

Artist -

I was inspired to log back in after over four years to brag about Donald Trump returning, after this site chased me off by not letting people upload art making fun of George Floyd. Also Project 2025 is a stupid psyop and the Heritage Foundation is full of controlled opposition.

Besides, quoting the relevant part:
Pornography, manifested today in the omnipresent propagation of transgender ideology and sexualization of children, for instance, is not a political Gordian knot inextricably binding up disparate claims about free speech, property rights, sexual liberation, and child welfare. It has no claim to First Amendment protection. Its purveyors are child predators and misogynistic exploiters of women. Their product is as addictive as any illicit drug and as psychologically destructive as any crime.
I don’t think that fictional porn is on their minds when talking about that - what they’re really thinking of here is hardcore porn of the sort that you see on Pornhub or hardcore porn books that somehow end up on school libraries. But in any case, the implication that a lot of you are following is that Project 2025 will be enacted on its entirety by Trump, when he’s on record saying that he doesn’t agree with it, parts of it are “ridiculous and abysmal” and he has nothing to do with it.

The “porn” found in libraries were all illustrations… and not porn. They are talking about banning drawings.
And anyway, are we seriously pretending to take Trump’s word for anything? If he had a cutie mark, it’d be for lying. Project 2025 is the Heritage Foundation’s proposal. In retrospect, it would’ve been politically smarter to focus on their name above their project, but Trump did everything they wanted in his first term. He’s doing this, or at least trying.

But… isn’t that what Florida’s ‘don’t say gay’ bills are?

I think what @marinus18 says makes sense:
I don’t think that will happen. At most they will innate some bullying of sites not associated with the big internet corporations. But most of what they want is to groom children to be Christians and not question those in power or the system they are in. With “porn” they mean LGBTQ.

I think there will be bullying from the megacorps like Hasbro but not much more than that. I do think if there is trouble that is where it will come from. Not prudish priests but megacorps not liking fans doing stuff.
Though I doubt it

Well, we’ll see. I’m going to be transitioning soon, so I’ll have bigger worries than a pony site. I have a sneaking suspicion that as others prioritize their safety as well, a much smaller issue like this will just go under the rug. They’ll probably ban it without much of a fuss, as the bigger issue would far outweigh it in most people’s minds.

Ponies haven’t been politicized though, aside from the fox news video which was a one-time thing.
Besides, Trump didn’t mention any ponies and/or bronies.

I’m not suggesting that there’s going to be an anti-ponies law. The site’s owners just probably won’t buckle under the pressure to remove the porn. An SFW version of the site would probably be legal, but if they refuse to turn it into that, it’s likely to disappear along with OnlyFans, Pixiv, Furaffinity and the rest.

Probably not good enough. If you’re outside of America or want to try a VPN, the site’s likely to still be accessible in some way. I’m not sure how much of the staff is located in the US, but the ones that aren’t will probably keep the site running.
The rest of us, who try to get here regardless, may be able to, but we’d be breaking the law. Not sure what the punishment will be. It might be like internet piracy where it’s illegal but we all do it and the people who host the stuff tend to be the ones at more legal risk.
