As much as I love the abomination of a design of our upcoming first ever Philippine ‘supercar’, I really don’t see the appeal of it being as a supercar since it’s only going to have less than 400 BHP.

In terms of reliability, Ford is the better of the two…especially with the F150. Of course Honda and Toyota beats most carmakers in terms of reliability.

Elantra is much cooler than Civic for example. Looks sportier and faster. But they need to put more horsepower in it.

chevy for all the wonderful inline 6s and v8s they made, hyundai for reliability and citroen for innovative designs and hydropneumatic suspension

This is a tough one.
 
Was never a fan of Korean car brands like Hyundai and Kia growing up, although my aunt loved her mid-to-late 2000s Kia SUV (not sure which one, though.) But I hear they’re fairly reliable and they’re super safe on the road.
 
Chevy used to be good, but in recent years, their quality has gone down the toilet.
 
Can’t tell you about Citrogen. They’re not available in the US.
 
I’d like to see a revival of Pontiac, as they were GM’s sporty division. I’d like to see small RWD perfomance cars from them, personally.

Only Citroen cars I really know of off the top of my head are the GT and the 2CV

Chevy trucks, for example, used to be rock solid and hardly ever break down, at least until the 2007 model year. Then they were only fairly decent until maybe 2015 or so. (Same with Chevy cars, BTW.) That really sucks, because I used to like Chevy. My grandfather drove primarily Chevy vehicles. As far as I know, he was a Chevy brand loyalist.

Actually, opel is now part of Stellantis (Fiat-Chrysler-Peugeot).

None of that would matter since GM is notorious for badge engineering. For example: the Chevy Cavalier and the Pontiac Sunfire are basically the same car, and the Chevy Silverado and the GMC Sierra are essentially the same truck.
 
GM didn’t just do all this badge engineering within themselves, they did this with foreign car companies like Toyota and Suzuki. The Geo Prism and Chevy Prism were just badge engineered Toyota Corollas (a.k.a. the most reliable car in the world.) Pontiac Vibe was a Toyota Matrix and the Chevy/Geo Tracker was a Suzuki Sidekick.
