Basically something I expected to be an easy 1 hour downtime turned into a bloodshed thanks to elasticsearch. The downtime would’ve been 6-10x longer on our previous server tho.

Hey. I’ve been finding my account has been logging out randomly lately. Like, chilling then suddenly logged out! Could this be the result of the down thing yesterday?
Well, I made an upload and went to make another just to discover I wasn’t logged in anymore. Sorry if it sounds like I’m complaining, I’m just hoping it will fix itself

Possibly but it didn’t happen to me it more than likely happened from when you last logged in you forgot to check remember me/keep me logged in.

Yeah, you gotta check that box before trying to log in or some browsers will “super helpful” you right past the “keep me logged in” thing.

Also some browsers get super helpful with clearing the “am logged in” session token, so it depends a lot on the browser and OS.
Happens to me about once every other month, then three days in a row, then not again for a month.

Oh yeah, my old Browser used to do it; it was dead annoying. My current browser doesn’t do it unless I ask it to.
