It describes a society where tulpas are practical helpers in daily life, and actually required by anyone who wants to be successful.
It’s part of how I’ve been able to do as much as I do. Because I’m not doing some of it, I can focus on stuff that’s interesting to me, and then every few months a complete set of ‘here’s new company’ shows up. Not always fully formed, but certainly not things I would normally be interested in. It’s ever so handy for industrial espionage, because the plausible deniability is through the roof until something is ready to be handed off.
