Anthro Foalcon is already not allowed. As for any laws, we’re just dealing with the stuff we actually have to deal with and for the most part any new laws that effect us that have been implemented during the life of this site have really not been that much of a problem. For example, we now have to be complaint with EU GDPR, but we pretty much already were.
 
Beyond that, speculating about ‘crack downs’ isn’t really a good use of time or energy. If something actually applies to us, we handle it. And if there’s a specific law that you’re worried about, please consult an actual lawyer.

If this is a sincere question, then send your resume and a sample of your voice work to Peach Princess aka JAST [warning: adult site]. They do not currently have any openings and I do not know if they ever hire freelance voice talent, but if you are interested in that kind of work, then this is really a great company to work for. If not them, and there are no porn companies where you live, then get to San Fran and start shopping your resume and voice work. You literally will find porn companies right on main street, and once you get into one of them, you’ll be able to move to better positions pretty quickly.
 
I’m not saying porn companies are always amazing to work for, but if you find one that IS amazing to work for, it’s amazing. They have so much money that it’s like living in a different reality.

Sliced my arm open on the undeburred heatsink on the underside of a prototype HP 3000 Series III printer controller board while installing it in the middle of the night. The cut was so clean I didn’t even notice until someone asked; “Where’s all the blood coming from?”
 
The doctor at the emergency room had fun with it - he kept grabbing things and saying “You nicked this one” (finger wiggles) but this one is ok (other finger wiggles). It was very educational.

About from the middle of my palm to my elbow. When we got to the emergency room I joked “This isn’t a suicide attempt, I’d like this sewn up.” The night nurses looked up at me from their table, then went back to finish their hand of poker.

I think that might be longer than the scar I have on my back from when I was under my friends truck trying to help fix an exhaust leak when he started it and it started redlining for some reason. I tried to get out from underneath it but my coveralls got stuck in a piece of wire and somehow his driveshaft blew in half and gave me a nice quarter to half inch deep cut from just above my elbow, to the upper part of my neck. I had him put me in my truck as he quickly rushed me to the ER. Somehow my bloods thicker than average so I didn’t lose a whole lot. I’ve still got my scar to prove it as well. Note to him, Wait until everyone is out from underneath the vehicle and don’t buy a truck made by GM that’s from the early 2000s.

Oh, yeah, something like that can leave a mark. A cousin got caught in a PTO on a silo unloader in a similar kind of situation. Thankfully (actually, freakishly) he survived, including climbing out of the silo and driving to the clinic by himself, but he did survive and got some fairly impressive battle scars from it.
