Learn drawing fundamentals. Do not limit yourself to only vector-drawing tips. The same skills to draw well with vector are the same to do well with drawing with anything else.

I don’t know, it depends on what you want to do, If you want to know vector programs I would recommend Inkscape (free) and Illustrator (paid), also depending if you want to do bases you can just trace frames from the show, put them on the bottom layer with diminished opacity to use as a reference, but if you want to do original vector drawings you have to learn about shapes and anatomy the same as any other type of drawing.
There are some other things I know, for example in vector you mostly use flat colors, but you can also use gradients to give some sort of depth/shading, also another tip for Inkscape specifically you can draw a shape like a hoof, select it and use Extensions > Arrange > Deep Ungroup, to separate path and fill, and put other colors in between by ordering each item with AvPag and RePag.

I draw in vectors in illustrator and there are very interesting things, a tip is a tool that you can make points on the line, I know there is the line selection but the tool that I tell you about can be where the width begins and ends.
It’s a common mistake that happens when you start with illustrator but if you know how to use it, the lines will look good and not so thin with the default line icon of the place, but yes, that icon still works.

Sometimes when we make an image in illustrator they end up with a faded color, it’s because your artboard is preset to a srgb 1966 or a CMYK wb coat, before you start exporting your images, always do a test color no It will be that they do not want to come out.
in the toolbar above called ver (I don’t know what it’s called in English since my illustrator is in Spanish) it’s the third tab from left to right there are some color test options and to be able to change the range but be careful it’s not It is the same to use an RGB1998 as a MAC1988 since they are different platforms.
Now, if there is still a problem with the saturation, you can go to the editing bar in edit colors, I use it so that the colors do not look very gray, it had already happened to me, the colors do not look vivid, which I would recommend it’s between 10 and 20 percent saturation, we don’t want it to be so saturated that it looks like we put it under a black light in a disco.
