[NSFW] Artist's Group Chat - Draw The Curtains Edition

Since pornographic content is also art, I wanted to create the NSFW version of The Artist’s Group Chat. This thread is for the more cheeky artists who frequent the booru and want to share ideas which one or more of those artists may draw, and discussions which don’t belong in the comments sections of the images. This thread is not meant to compete with the other, but merely to provide a hub for this kind of art as well. Any safe and suggestive pictures belong in the other thread.
 
The thread may also be used to link images to other group members if they are likely to be interested, or for drawing attention to something you’ve uploaded.
 
New artists are always welcome here, regardless of skill level.

I couldn’t get the legs right, so I ended up just cropping it and giving her a super long tail to “fix” it :P
 
I feel that dilema. Especially since I stick strictly to a show-accurate style. It’s why I’m a big fan of Human X Pony pairings and doing Original species: it allows for some incredibly creative use of anatomy.

I’m working on raising my working resolution in the hopes I can supply higher-res / absurd-res images to supporters e.g. Patrons. I refuse to completely paywall the artwork (thru Patreon at least) but I’ve got to monetize it somehow.

I actually feel the same way at times. I am far from considering myself an expert on pony anatomy, but at the same time, I can tell when something is obviously wrong. Such was the case with my most recent picture (>>1102683) - I was intending for that to be a lot more explicit than the end result showed, but I just couldn’t get it to work without it either looking like her leg was broken and bent sideways, or her marehood was attached to her body at a 45 degree angle.
 
One day I intend to learn anthro so I can draw a lot more poses that just wouldn’t make sense for a pony (including a few kinks of mine that really would not be possible for a pony to do), but those days are still a bit further down the road.

As for that picture, if you were to have her slumped down in the tub more, you could have her naughty bits showing and otherwise keep the pose. Sort of like this, if you don’t mind seeing a little gay foalcon.

Not for me, because this is obviously SFW, depicting a playful, cute cloud pony making jokes. It makes me want to hug her, instead of making me sexually excited. To be watersports, the liquid should come out of a vulva.

I think besides drawing anatomically correct, prominent and sometimes exaggerated pussies, sometimes you guys can consider doing cute, soft, human-like pussies. The magic of a little line is more powerful than anyone can imagine. Here are some good examples, thanks to lumineko.

Hmmm, personally, whenever I draw a vagina or really any genitals, I feel the need to add more detail to that region. Since it’s going to be a part that people focus on, I want there to be a good amount there to be worth drawing in the viewer’s attention. And, for me at least, I think it’s a bit easier to just keep adding detail until it looks good rather than trying to make a more minimalist approach work.

Point taken. However, I still see another possibility when creating NSFW art. Let me compare two typical pictures.
 

 
This is a seductive Princess Celestia, spreading her pussy wide. In this picture, the pussy is the focus, and the artist does a great job detailing it. The two openings inside the labia majora, the clit and the texture are all carefully depicted. I believe when you are talking about adding details to the genitals, you are referring to this kind of art.
 
The picture below, on the other hand, is a typical NSFW work built up with both sexiness and cuteness.

We can see in this picture that Pinkie Pie is making a cute face, lying down with her strawberry marshmallow front hooves holding her hind legs up. With her slit on the crotch this is obviously an NSFW work, but to arouse people, the artist does not only focus on the genitals. He tries his best to make the texture of Pinkie’s body fluffy and soft, especially her chest fur. Not to mention her always fluffy mane. This little pony gives the impression that if you give her a naughty cuddle, not only your boner but also your arms surrounding her body and your face rubbing her face will enjoy the moment. Basically a cute little line does the job of maintaining the picture’s adorableness by making Pinkie’s pussy look soft and delicious.
 
I like both types, but the second type really needs more attention.
