i have a question (and this is for reference proposes) do victorian prostitutes wore make-up JUST to attract men to them and/or so they can feel good? because I try to find an answer but google does not give me the exact answer. I’m just curious just in case I need to explain something for a future story or something and I don’t want it to be anything worse because I want my story to work and for SOME important characters for a particular story to stay healthy despite the situation.
