i wish i could afford base edit oc art and backround art. im tired of being stuck with degenerate pencil and paper oc art that almost no one in the fandom has.

Pencil + paper are a great first step toward producing your own content, though ; and if you’re aiming for show accuracy, you don’t even need to buy dedicated peripherals, as Inkscape can be used quite decently with a mouse.

Or you can push the traditional media to its limits

not if you dont wanna look like a deadbeat in extreme poverty. and i cant make my own art i tried and it didnt work out. i almsot no one in the fandom has pencil and paper art and they dont use it in their comic art or blooper reel videos. i cant use pencil and paper art in my blooper videos. most people in the fandom have base edit oc art and dont look like deadbeats in extreme poverty.

Maybe just draw something besides ponies?

You know, there are a LOT of artists in the fandom who do traditional art. It’s pretty shitty to say doing so makes you “look like a deadbeat in extreme poverty” when so many people have spent years refining their skills with it.
