2020 is drawing to a close, so it’s only appropriate we look back at some of the worst things that happened this year. In particular, this thread will be about Deviantart’s Eclipse layout.
For those of you who don’t know, on May 20th, 2020 Deviantart decided to bring its Eclipse layout out of beta and make it permanent. The response to it was mostly negative. Members of the DA community were in an uproar over switching the layout to a buggy, unpolished one that is too confusing to both new and old users, with several refusing to upload deviations on their pages and some choosing to migrate to different sites like Tumblr and Twitter (Myself included).
So I wanna hear the opinions of Derpibooru’s community: do you guys hate the Eclipse layout? If so, what are some of the worst things you’ve experienced on the site, both as a user and a viewer?
