Favorite season and why

Which of the 9 seasons of mlp were your favorite?

Season 5, though it’s been a while since i’ve watched the entire series, don’t care to rewatch it. S5 had Slice of Life, Amending Fences, The Mane Attraction, many other good episodes, only one bad episode (also some filler episodes).

Season 4 had the best finale but no other really good episodes (Castle mane-ia was okay though). Season 2 had a lot of good episodes but also a lot of bad ones. Season 3 only had two good episodes (Magic Duel and Magical Mystery Cure, and even the latter could have been much better) but only 13 episodes total and most of them aren’t any good. Season 1 was okay but didn’t have any really good episodes. Seasons 6 and 7 are okay but not as good as seasons 2-5. Season 8 kinda sucked. I didn’t like the school of friendship. Season 9 is by far the worst season with so many bad episodes like The Last Crusade, A Trivial Pursuit, 2-4-6 Great, Dragon Dropped, Daring Doubt, Growing Up is Hard to Do, Between Dark and Dawn, the Last Problem, and the worst episode in the entire show: The Ending of the End (would have been a good episode if it wasn’t for that stupid plot twist which ruined the show for me).

To me it’s a tie between Seasons 4 and 5 but slightly more Season 5 because it introduced the idea of the map where they got to go around solving friendship problems and I really liked it

Well… Let’s start with s6 I liked and loved this season cuz it’s focus on starlight and have many map episodes and the animation is soft for real
S2 cuz it’s the beginning of the true adventure and have a good story and the animation is really good and the finally was boom
S1 y’all know… Bcuz it’s the beginning it’s the beginning for the story I know some episodes seems Lim but it’s cut for a first season
S5 amazing amazing amazing it’s changed the all story with new line of it and the animation is amazing and the story line is good the map episodes are amazing well evey thing is amazing thx for reading (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

Haven’t watched through any of them in years so I’d need to do that to get a refresher on them…

Season 1 hands down. It’s the only wholly-good season. Even the worst episodes (eg. Feeling Pinkie Keen) still rate a 5/10.

Season 2 was a long slog of crap I didn’t finish because I lost my patience waiting for the quality to return to the standard set by Season 1. The two worst episodes being A Friend In Deed and Lesson Freaking Zero. Or in other words, “Pinkie needs a Reason You Suck Speech” and “Twilight needs a few decades in prison”.

Seasons 3+ I haven’t even watched, because just looking at the promo for Season 3, I could tell it wasn’t going to be good enough to make finishing Season 2 worthwhile, and everything after that has Alicorn Twilight in it, so I’m not going to touch it with a barge-pole.

Season 4.

After rewatching the whole show during lockdowns and rating each episode, season 4 got the highest average rating of 6.2/10. Also, it has the best finale and the best episode of the entire show imo.

Season 5. It had so many ambitious crazy ideas. Like equality marks or CMCs getting their cutiw marks or other races being explored or introduced like the griffons and yaks.

Season 7 is 2nd place. Even if it didn’t have as much of a satisfying overarching storyline like Season 4 or 6, it had some great individual episodes.

I wish Seasons 8 and 9 had the same quality standards as these two seasons.
