Practicing back muscle once more… and I guess I have a furry OC now.

I was bored, so I decided to get off my lazy ass and start drafting the final design of another character that I came up with.

Here’s the original sketch…

And here it is inked and colored.

I’m contemplating doing the inks and colors digitally at some point to see how it would look (mostly because I didn’t expect the purple sharpie I used to be so dark), but I really do like how it turned out.

Yeah that purple is almost black.

Sometimes I do my color choices where dark purple is the darkest color.

I was trying to go for a lighter purple for her vest, but by the time I found out it was a dark purple, it was too late.

Yeah I try to use a scrap paper to test the colors and how they run into eachother (each color has different chemicals, they don’t always blend the same way computers do)

One problem is if you’re using high quality canvas or paper you got to use the same paper to make test marks on, if you want to be confident.

if i want to find a creature from mythology and make them show accurate what should i do to make them work like a regular animal

creatures can be from anywhere whatever amarican or egyptian for example and can fit in environments like these

I envy the artists who can send pictures smoothly. I even find it difficult to send a picture here. I don’t have a picture sharing and storage website
