It’s really up to you. Ghosts can come in all shapes and sizes, so some can have a spectral tail or not.

i mean for the show itself

maybe my ghost prefer a tail when they are not on the ground but again i want it to make sense in the show universe

As long as you make it reasonably look like it belongs in the show you can basically use whatever design you like. Just try to not use more detail than the show normally uses if you’re going for a show-accurate kind of look. I’ve done all sorts of different designs for bat ponies, most of which deviate from how Flutterbat looked in the show, but none of the designs stick out as looking “wrong” compared to the show :D

well the closest i got was discord and windigos but if i want to give an explanation just in case i can say they do it because they are not on the ground i mean who knows we only saw 2 ghosts in the show discord (hopefully faking but based on real ghost) and applejack ghost so maybe ghost ponies do have tails like what I’m thinking of but what would i know

i have green, blue, white and aquamarine. does it still follow the rules of flag design well because i want something to represent the universe and the one i got is aquamarine so is this still ok or should i change it?
