Alright thanks. Thought the back showing up was an accident, the draw was supposed to go with the belly thing. Guess I just need to practize and use that mold you gave me.

Any tricks for manes? Or hair in general? Hair intimidates me a tiny bit, I could use some help.

Whenever I draw hair, I use curves.
 
It just comes naturally to me, but others may struggle to recreate that back and forth sweep.
 
Just try to keep the hair going in a general direction, although it can also be used to convey movement in an image, (one of the reasons long haired characters look more dynamic). Hair that is swept opposite to the direction the character is moving helps give that illusion of movement).

Man, I feel like if I’m pressuring myself too much with my first digital drawing.
 
But I really wish to make it good, if only to have my first well self-designed avatar.
 
When I don’t feel I can make the line with the exact lenght I want I use the eraser and I feel I’m using a crutch.

I say just go for it. Sometimes it takes a while before you nail it, but that’s when practice comes into play.

Go for it. for every 10 to 20 “trash” you usually get a good one.  
I still keep some of my unfinished trash. Most of them I ditch, however.  
So yeah, go for it.

And since I’ve been doing these living hieroglyph posts all week I wanted to show off the wall assets I made but in kind of an interesting way, so I mimicked a museum brochure I saw once :D  

 
(Yes, the brochure actually had the little mascot saying the WE’RE HIRING part like word for word XD)
