Alright thanks. Thought the back showing up was an accident, the draw was supposed to go with the belly thing. Guess I just need to practize and use that mold you gave me.
It just comes naturally to me, but others may struggle to recreate that back and forth sweep.
Just try to keep the hair going in a general direction, although it can also be used to convey movement in an image, (one of the reasons long haired characters look more dynamic). Hair that is swept opposite to the direction the character is moving helps give that illusion of movement).
So here’s this picture. I would have finished it earlier, but my dear old dad was doing a favor for me which required limited access to my computer to be completed.

Go for it. for every 10 to 20 “trash” you usually get a good one.
I still keep some of my unfinished trash. Most of them I ditch, however.
So yeah, go for it.
And since I’ve been doing these living hieroglyph posts all week I wanted to show off the wall assets I made but in kind of an interesting way, so I mimicked a museum brochure I saw once :D
