Exactly! Just look at Edd Gould’s work, especially in his earlier years. It may not be perfect, but at least it was well-received.

You don’t need to draw ‘realism’ in order to make great art. However, you need to understand the basics and fundamentals in Art otherwise you’re going to hit a plateau.

How do i send images on forums i gotta show my pinkie pie sketch.

Step 3 used to be simply pasting the link between two exclamation points, but that’s no longer possible.

does anybody know of a vector tutorial for original vector backgrounds? (Preferably related to MLP FIM) because i need to find a faster method to do backgrounds so it won’t take me days to do one comic or single picture.

Emulating the look of an illustration from Charlotte’s Web was kinda tough but I’m happy with the result.

Isn’t the point of drawing to create and have fun though?
