Here’s a new piece I posted for Valentine’s Day.  

Does the text on this show up corrupted/illegible/boxes to everyone else or is it just my browser/cache? The text was fine (if generic font) in the file preview. If it shows up wrong, any idea how I could remedy it short of inserting the text as bitmap?

If it’s an SVG and you’re using Inkscape, select the text and hit CTRL+SHIFT+C to convert it to paths and it will display fine because it will no longer be a font.

I’m trying my hand at stop motion. I also have a creepy one with a bunch of little bootleg Spikes I just uploaded.

Like I said in the other thread, GOOD EFFORT.
 
But the most glaring issue is the inconsistent lighting. You definitely want a light source independent of your camera. You will have to think about this.
 
Composition in the first pic is a big issue as well. Having characters framed awkwardly like that isn’t appealing. Red ranger’s helmet being cropped like that isn’t a good composition. Raise the camera a bit, so it’s more or less on Red’s eye level.
 
On the second one…you could see someone’s fingers for one frame? how? you have full control of each frame, so make sure you pay attention to it.
 
The third one, is the most solid of the bunch. Characters are framed nicely, and the lighting looks better.
 
Where DoubleX at? he should be able to give you better advice.

Nice! Fairly smooth and consistent movement overall.

My finger is in the first one too. It was partially on purpose.  
My fingers were actually in the second one alot,but I was able to black them out. One frame,though,was stubborn and wouldn’t cooperate. I thought it was funny though.  
I wasn’t really trying to make these “good” per se.

I saw as much it gives off a 90’s grunge feel to it…probably why I like it :P.

I strongly recommend a matte backdrop. Also try to avoid having the photo’s focus point switch back and forth.

I can relate a bit. Although my issue isn’t ideas to draw, it’s a lack of enthusiasm at the moment.
 
Haven’t drawn much for several months now, and I feel like I’m letting my followers down.
 
Been watching the series with my older two kids, and currently on season 7.
 
Enjoyed season 6,and ‘Perfect Pear’, whilst kinda soppy, was a great episode so I may well draw something featuring Bright Mac and Pear Butter next.
