art after the end of g4

i’m sure we have all seen the leaks and the spoilers…. but even BEFORE the final episode airs all the art on this site… yes even the porn takes on a much more somber tone as you reminisce all the time you took for granted and how it will all be art about characters long in the past… I admit I am not taking the end of FIM well and I admit even browsing or creating art will hurt for a while… we have come such a long way from opening that book in episode 1 of the first season… I miss those days.

There’ll still be new fanart, fanfiction, music, etc. Just because the original content is over doesn’t mean the stories are.

I know… i’m just not ready for g4 to end… the my little pony I came to know in high school and the one I fell in love with is now ending… I will miss the characters, the fun and the stories of new episodes… most of all I will miss Chrysalis… I admit she was my first SERIOUS fictional crush… i’m even doing an epilogue series that I just started of giving the three villains the happy endings they deserved. I admit I mourn the loss of Chrysalis, losing the show AND her is to me comparable to the loss of a loved one… lets just hope g5 is anywhere near as good as g4 was

Come the end of Season 9, the characters will be free of the money-driven decisions of the entertainment industry. Their spirits will ascend to a higher calling, no longer shackled to their screen-bound forms. Their stories will now belong to us, the fans, who love and care for them independent of their monetary worth as drivers of merchandise. They will suffer no more.
 
This isn’t an ending. It’s a new beginning.
