Oooff, I learned recently I can’t do rum anymore.
 
Well, less learned, more finally came to terms with.
 
All my worst drinking decisions have been made on rum. Especially Kraken.
 
Almost got an ex knocked up on that stuff. Not my shining moment.

I went outside to enjoy the night air, next thing I knew it was daytime and I was yelling at the sky.
 
The cops arrived and we were just kinda staring at each other, I had my rum and everything, they were impressed with how much I drank and let me keep the rest.

You know what’s weird is that scientifically speaking alcohol is alcohol. Beer, wine and liquor all have the same stuff but why then do you act differently and get more drunk depending on what kind of drink it is? I can’t get drunk off of gin but drinking the same amount of alcohol from beer I can get wasted.
 
Part of it is the carbonation that is supposed to increase alcohol absorbtion but the gin is mixed with carbonated tonic water.

Uhm.. well this is a shocker…

I ate it in a buffet. For what that’s worth.

If it felt rubbery it means it was overcooked, something usual on buffet diners.  
Personally I don’t like to cook octopus because it’s an inkredient a bit too finicky to handle.

Done working the night/closing shift, was pretty boring. All I did was just face stuff to the front of the shelf, nothing excited. Not to mention I had to organize shit cause stuff was in the wrong shelves, which was frustrating.
